2005-11-04 . 10:20 a.m. - Friday 5ives [1] ... things I've learned at my job that have absolutely nothing to do with my actual jobI've decided that, every Friday, I'm going to post a 5ives-like entry. In following with the stream of unoriginality, I will call it Friday 5ives.
If anything, it'll be fun to see how long I can keep it up. If anyone else is interested (please sign my guestbook if you are), I'd like to turn this into a collab. Nothing formal really (you can even pick your own 5ives category), I'd just be sure to post links to the other participants' posts in my Friday 5ives entry.5ive things I've learned at my job that have absolutely nothing to do with my actual job:
- You really can ruin mac 'n cheese ... and Nature's Table has perfected this task.
- Even though the employee handbook states that "business casual" is appropriate attire for the workplace, I can get away with wearing jeans 3 days out of the week simply because I work in the IT department.
- The tampon machine in the women's room gives away free tampons.
- Krispy Kreme donuts truly are the perfect Friday breakfast.
- The quickest way to implement a paper toilet seat cover ... you need to see the fluid motion of my hand to fully understand this one.
