2005-01-23 . 12:35 a.m. - Why don't they call them the "cat days"?I am Marcela's Squee story.
You know your day is going to be "shitty" when .... You wake up to your boyfriend yelling "OH MY GOD COME HERE AND LOOK AT THIS" and the thing he wants you to look at is ... ::drum roll please:: ... the cat's litter box has been tipped up on its side and kitty litter and kitty poop is scattered across the laundry room floor. He SWEARS that Squee did it on purpose, but I used my CSI (crime scene investigation) skills to figure out what really happened: Squee likes to pee standing up. Basically, what he does is squat inside the litter box sitting back on his hind legs while he holds himself upright with his front paws against the edge of the litter box (it's really quite cute). My guess is that when I changed his litter last night, I put the litter box back down on the litter-grabbing mat (square of hard, plastic, astro-turf type stuff) and on top of the pooper-scooper in a way that it caused the litter box to have some sort of see-saw/teeter-totter action going on (I know it's hard to imagine, just stay with me). So the next time Squee went to pee, he leaned on the front of the litter box just enough that it tipped over, scared the shit out of him (or maybe just the pee) and he tried to run away causing it to tip forward even more. It really wasn't so bad, I was able to clean the mess up in a matter of minutes, but it was funny as hell that Neutron would think Squee would do something like that on purpose. I asked him "Why would he do it (or in CSI terms: What was his motive)?" and Neutron replied "For the attention, duh."
